Understanding the requirements of our customers and the analytical instrumentation industry is at the core of our process for solid product design. It all starts with listening. With years of experience and discussions with a variety of customers we have distilled what we’ve learned into the 4 pillars of our product design process: materials, geometry, performance, and appearance.

Our intent is to provide CTS replacement parts that are, in each case, “equivalent to” or better than the corresponding OEM part.

With the product process in mind CTS pursues 2 possible paths towards offering OEM alternative parts. Firstly, CTS has cultivated relationships with many parts and component manufacturing companies that cater to high tech industries such as analytical instrumentation. Where it is possible and feasible, CTS uses these vendors to source parts that match the performance, and look of the OEM’s. Alternatively, we develop the products in-house. This process includes such steps as acquiring OEM product for examination and testing, creating drawings, and sending parts to ISO 17025 certified A2LA accredited laboratories for analysis (for assistance in defining materials and/or geometries). Once we are satisfied with the materials and geometries, prototypes are made, evaluated, and performance tested.

Our desired outcome from this rigorous process is to provide you with the analytical instrumentation parts and services you need, when you need them; all supplied by friendly, knowledgeable people at a reasonable price.
